　　星期六上午，媽媽要到街上當創(chuàng)建文明城市志愿者，我要媽媽帶我一起去。

　　在街上，我和媽媽一樣，胸前佩戴著志愿者的牌子，見到街道兩旁的櫥窗上有亂貼亂畫的小廣告就讓店主把它撤掉;見到地上有紙屑，就把它撿起來送進垃圾箱。

　　在一家小商店門前，有一位急匆匆走路的.叔叔剛剛把抽完的煙頭丟在地上，就被我的一雙“火眼金睛”看到了，我連忙跑過去對他說：“叔叔，請您把煙頭撿起來好嗎?我們要做文明市民”。叔叔沖我笑了笑，連聲說：“好、好、好”，并彎腰把煙頭撿了起來丟進了垃圾箱。當時，我心里甭提有多高興了。另外，我還制止了好多起在路邊不按停車位停車的車輛。

　　經過一上午的忙碌，我發(fā)現經我管轄的路段，路面干凈、整潔，車輛停放有序，我開心極了，因為我也能為創(chuàng)建文明城市做貢獻了。

　　We are middle school students and we are busy with our lessons. So some people think we should concentrate more on our studies. If we volunteer to help others, it’s a waste of time. But I think volunteering is great.
