教學目標
本單元的核心教學是“計數(shù)”,與此相關(guān)的語法項目是“There be”結(jié)構(gòu)的肯定句、一般問句及其答語、否定句、How many引導的特殊疑問句的基本構(gòu)成。熟練掌握不規(guī)則名詞的復數(shù)形式。

3)語音:繼續(xù)鞏固元音字母O在重讀開音節(jié)、閉音節(jié)的讀音以及四個輔音因素的讀音,并學習相應(yīng)的拼讀規(guī)則。
教學建議
教學內(nèi)容分析
本單元的教學重點主要集中在:There be 結(jié)構(gòu)的一般疑問句及其答語、否定句;How many 引導的特殊疑問句, 不規(guī)則的名詞復數(shù)形式。其中,How many后接可數(shù)名詞的復數(shù)形式。some 用于肯定句中,any 用于否定句和疑問句中,這些是本單元的重點,教師在教學時應(yīng)當特別給與關(guān)注。
本單元的教學難點:How many后加可數(shù)名詞的復數(shù)形式、There be結(jié)構(gòu)與have/has的區(qū)別及使用。
口語訓練建議
本單元的口語訓練的重點應(yīng)放在 There be,How many 為主的功能性會話的訓練上,讓學生在口語訓練的過程中記憶本單元所出現(xiàn)的詞匯、短語、句型,逐步加深對 There be,How many 句型的理解及運用。為了使口語訓練更加有趣、貼近生活,教師不妨讓學生先進行以下一些活動:
1)繪畫表演,兩個學生一組,一個學生用句型 There be 描述,如:There are three boys on the hill. 另一個學生用粉筆在黑板上就第一個學生所描述的內(nèi)容 (三個男孩,一座小山),進行現(xiàn)場繪畫。之后,其他學生對所畫內(nèi)容進行 There be; How many 句型的提問。如:Are there any boys on the hill? Or How many boys are there on the hill? There are three boys. 這種提問可以是教師與學生之間、學生與學生之間、小組與小組之間、男生與女生之間的問與答。
2)教師也可以讓學生自己或以小組為單位,事先選擇一個題目,如:一幅風景畫、我的臥室、我家的客廳、我們的教室、我的學校、老師辦公室等等,進行繪畫比賽,最好涂上顏色,(為下一單元學習顏色做好準備,到那時,這副圖片仍可以使用),在上課時,在教師引入 There be 句型后,由小畫家們用這一句型對自己的作品進行描述。如:This is my bedroom. It is a nice room. There is a small bed in it. Near the bed, there is a desk. It is big. There are some books on it. Beside the desk there is a chair. There is a big window in the wall. The walls are white. There are two pictures on the walls. Behind the door there is a broom. I love my bedroom. 為了使教學效果更好,教師應(yīng)事先對一、兩個小組的描述(或稱為小作文)進行批改,讓他們在其他學生描述之前進行,這樣有導向性。會更好的引導其他的學生。這樣做,雖然加大了教師的工作量,但是,會為今后的書面表達及筆頭的訓練打下一個很好的基礎(chǔ)。
語法教學建議
1) 對There be結(jié)構(gòu)的處理:
本單元的語法重點是句型:There be 其中它的一般問句是教學的重點,這與漢語的結(jié)構(gòu)是不同的,我們漢語的問句是在句末加個"嗎",而英語它是把 is或are 提到句首。其肯定回答為:Yes, there is /are. 否定回答為: No, there isn't/aren't. 在疑問句、否定句中,常用any, 而不用some.
There is a ruler in his bag. 他的書包里有一把尺子。
Is there a ruler in his bag? 他的書包里有一把尺子嗎?
There are some houses near the river. 在河邊有一些房子。
Are there any houses near the river? 在河邊有一些房子嗎
這些需要理解、記憶的地方,一定要讓學生在第一次接觸這個句型時,就徹底明白,并會進行句型轉(zhuǎn)換。切忌將這些內(nèi)容在本單元講授完畢時,才對學生講解,那樣做不利于學生的學習。
2)對以 How many 開頭的特殊疑問句的處理:
在講授完 There be 結(jié)構(gòu)之后,應(yīng)馬上讓學生就這一句型中的 "數(shù)字"進行提問,這樣有利于There be 句型一般問句的鞏固。首先應(yīng)讓學生清楚:how many的含義,意思"多少" 它是對"數(shù)字"的提問,它的句型構(gòu)成是:
How many + 可數(shù)名詞復數(shù) + are there + 地點狀語?
在好一些的班級,可適當引入 how much 引導的特殊疑問句的構(gòu)成,并讓學生自己找出他們在用法上的不同。
How much + 不可數(shù)名詞 + is there + 地點狀語?
在學生理解的基礎(chǔ)上,配以少量的漢譯英的練習,從而加以鞏固。需要說明的是:在練習中要以 How many 引導的特殊問句為主,它才是本單元的重點。而 How much 引導的特殊問句, 只作為一般性的了解,為今后的學習作鋪墊。
單詞教學建議
這一單元的生詞較少,不妨把單詞教學的重點轉(zhuǎn)移至名詞復數(shù)的教學上來。先以不規(guī)則名詞復數(shù)的變化為主,之后對名詞復數(shù)變化的所有規(guī)則、讀音進行總結(jié) (包含規(guī)則變化在內(nèi))。為今后的學習打好基礎(chǔ)。
本單元的新詞需要在語法教學中反復強調(diào)強化。教師應(yīng)結(jié)合There be的訓練,有計劃地安排對新詞的掌握和已學詞語的復習,使學生在There be句型的多種形式的訓練中,不斷使用已學過的詞語。
Lesson 45-46 教學設(shè)計方案
(兩課時)
一.教學目的
1.復習、鞏固第十一單元的There be句型。
2.掌握四會單詞和詞組child/ children, man/ men, woman/ women, at work/ at home/ at school要掌握讀音,寫法和用法。
3.教學There be的疑問形式:Is there a cat in the bee?及其肯定、否定回答。
4.鞏固There be句型及其特殊形式How many…are there?
二.重難點
1.名詞復數(shù)的不規(guī)則變化,如:man – men woman – women child – children 要求學生讀準、寫準、用準。
2.How many…?句型中How many接可數(shù)名詞復數(shù)的用法。
3.掌握、運用There be句型的肯定形式與疑問形式的轉(zhuǎn)換,并會作肯定與否定回答。
三.學法引導
1.教師教法:利用實物、掛圖復習句型What’s…? There is a…/ There are some…利用幻燈片、圖畫教學名詞的復數(shù)形式。圍繞教室的實物教學Is there…?句型,提問Is there a book on the desk?幫助學生做出肯定回答:Yes,there is.再舉幾個應(yīng)用肯定回答的實物,然后讓學生兩人一組一問一答進行練習。待到學生熟練,再教學Is there a book in the desk?幫助學生做出否定回答:No,there isn’t.再舉出幾個應(yīng)用否定回答的實物,幫助學生做出否定回答,然后成組練習。
2.學生學法:仔細研究第一部分的詞組,可以看出名詞復數(shù)的變化規(guī)律,一般的名詞在詞后加-s,但有些名詞是特殊情況,像child, man, woman這些詞需要單獨記憶。生活中可以為我們提供很多關(guān)于數(shù)量問答的情景,例如在你們班上有多少同學,在你的鉛筆盒中有幾支筆,等等,可以拿出這些東西,在同學之間做問答練習,鞏固所學句型。為了練習句型There be的一般疑問句,請大家按照提示就教室里的東西進行問答。

Step 1 Revision
利用教室里的實物復習句型What’s…? There is a…/ There are some…Where is it/ Where are they?如:
T:What’s in the picture? S:There is/ are…
T:Where is it?/Where are they? S:It’s…/They are…
Step2 Presentation
教師指著一個男孩提問:
T:Who’s he? S:He’s a boy.
再指多個男孩提問:
T:Who are they? S:They are some boys.
Show some pictures to the students. Include a boy, some boys, a girl, some girls, a man, some men, a woman, some women.
Teacher: What is in this picture?
Students: There is a boy./girl/man/woman/child
Teacher: What is in that picture?
Students: There are some boys/girls/men/women/children.
Step3 Look, read and say
Page 56, Part 1. Play the tape twice. Ask the students listen and repeat. Pay attention to the students pronounce men and women correctly. At last, explain in Chinese that most words in English are made plural by adding? -s or -es, but that there are some exceptions.

Step 4 Presentation
Show the pictures again.
T: How many boys/girls/men/women/children are there?
Ss: There are two children. Or: There is only one.
T: Where is he/she? Or: Where are they?

Ss: Yes, he/she is. Or: No, they aren’t. They are …
Step 5 Ask and answer
Have the Ss ask and answer similar questions in pairs.
Step 6 Count
Look at the picture: Part 3, but before listening to the tape, ask them to count the kites and birds, and the teacher asks: How many kites are there in the sky? How many birds are there in the sky?
The Ss answer: There are thirteen kites and two birds in the sky.
Then read and say in pairs. At last, ask some groups to act it out in front of the class.
Step 7 Teach the new words, using the flashcards.
Step 8 Drawing
Divide the class into some groups, ask them to draw some pictures in pairs.
Then they describe the pictures using: There is a… There are some…
Step 9 Ask and answer
Using the pictures ( they have drawn , Step 7) One group asks:
Is there/ Are there any…?
And the other group answers: Yes, there is. No, there aren’t, etc.
Step 10 Read and say
Page 57 Part 1. Listen to the tape twice. Ss listen and repeat.

Step 12 In pairs
Ask and answer similar questions about the classroom, the bedroom, their school, the teachers’ office, their family in pairs.

2.學生學法:為了練習There be句型的一般疑問句,大家可以自己設(shè)計一幅畫,然后讓另一個同學用問題的形式猜出畫里的內(nèi)容,再畫一幅,看這兩幅畫是否一樣。

拿出一些物品,并把它們堆放在課桌上說:Look at this desk,we can see many things on it.然后提問Is there a pen on the desk?幫學生回答,接著問 Are there any pens on the desk?(引出There be句型的一般疑問句的復數(shù)形式),幫助學生做肯定回答和否定回答,Yes, there are./No,there aren’t.
Step 3 Practice
1.讓學生兩人一組,根據(jù)桌子上的實物和上面的句型進行問答練習。
2.看書第 54頁的圖,教師問Are there any…in the picture?學生回答。(可以讓全體學生一起回答,也可以讓個別學生回答)
3.學生用書第47課第1部分,讓學生先聽錄音并跟讀,然后兩人一組進行練習,待熟練上口后,合上書,讓學生看圖進行問答練習。
Step 4 Presentation
指著教室問Are there any windows and desks in the classroom?讓學生回答Yes,there are./Yes,there is one.再問Are there any birds in the classroom?讓學生回答No,there aren’t.
教師可以指著教室里的物體,按教師一全班一半班一組進行問答練習,待熟練上口后,兩人一組一問一答。
Step 5 Practice
學習用書第58頁第2部分。兩人一組進行問答練習。待學生熟練后,脫離課本,根據(jù)教師提供的掛圖,進行問答練習,要注意學生對any用法的理解。
Step 6 Presentation
利用實物來復習How many…?句型,指出How many之后要接可數(shù)名詞復數(shù)形式的用法。
例如:T:How many boys are there in the classroom?
S: There are…
T: How many teachers are there?
S: There is only one.
Step 7 Practice
1.首先幫助學生回答課本第58頁第3部分的一些問題,然后兩人一組進行練習。
2.把課本的3個部分合在一起,運用所學的句型Are there any…? How many…?
學生兩人一組編一個自己的對話,例如:
A: Look at the picture. Are there any birds /…in the picture?
B: Yes, there are.
A: How many birds /… are there in the picture?

盲人摸袋
目的:復習表示日常生活用品的英文名稱,幫助學生熟練掌握名詞的單復數(shù)形式,同時培養(yǎng)學生的想象力。
過程:
1.教師拿出事先準備好的裝有各種日常生活用品的大袋子(某些物品應(yīng)準備多個)。
2.讓學生摸一摸口袋里裝的東西,并用以下句型表述自己的猜測:“There is an apple in the bag./There’re two rulers in the bag.”每位學生限猜一次。
3.學生依次上去摸袋子,其余學生記錄“盲人”的猜測情況。
4.教師打開口袋,并公布答案,根據(jù)學生的記錄,評出“最聰明獎”或“火眼金睛”若干名。
探究活動二
1.聽短文畫圖
教師或一個學生讀一段短文(含有 there be 句型的短文),讓其他學生根據(jù)短文的內(nèi)容,在紙上或黑板上畫出短文所描寫的圖畫。如:
This is a picture of my bedroom. There is a bed in my room. There are some books on my bed. Near the bed there is a desk. On the desk there are some pens, some books and a cup. There are two pictures on the wall. …
2. 看圖寫短文或提問
教師找?guī)追写硇缘纳剿? 或含有物體位置關(guān)系的圖片, 讓學生用 there be 句型進行描述并注意運用數(shù)詞來進行描寫,也可以在學生之間進行提問練習。如:How many…? Is there a/an…? Are there any…?
3.摸一摸,猜一猜
蒙住一個學生的眼睛,另一個學生或教師,在講臺桌上放幾本書,幾支鉛筆,幾把尺子,幾個鉛筆盒,幾個書包等。讓第一個學生摸一摸后,用:Is there a…? Are there any…? 或 There are some…, aren’t there? Is there a…, isn’t there? 來提問。其他學生用:Yes, there is/No, there isn’t. Yes, there are. /No, there aren’t. Yes, you’re right./No, you are wrong. 來回答。
猜謎What’s in the picture?
目的:復習“there be”句型的一般疑問句及其肯定與否定回答形式,調(diào)動學生的學習積極性,并激活學生的想象力,培養(yǎng)學生的創(chuàng)造思維能力。
過程:
1.教師準備一幅簡潔、清楚的場景圖,將其反貼在黑板上,讓學生猜:“What’s in the picture?”(教師可提示場景,比如:“It’s a park./It’s a school./It’s a bedroom.”等)
2.把學生按性別分成兩大組,輪流向教師提問:“Is there a river in the picture?/Is there a book on the desk?/Are there aw trees behind the house?/…”教師作出應(yīng)答:“Yes,there is/are.”或“No,there isn’t/aren’t.”猜測方每猜對一次得一分,猜錯不扣分。
3.教師出示場景圖,并公布答案。在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)得分高的小組獲勝。
4.請學生根據(jù)這幅圖的內(nèi)容,以書面形式進行描述。
分組組句
把學生分成幾組,并指派組長在活動中,進行組織。教師把事先準備好的幾組句子單詞卡片,分發(fā)給學生。讓他們利用這些卡片,盡可能多的組成不同的句式?茨慕M學生組的句子又多又對。如:
