猶記得晏幾道那句“幾回魂夢(mèng)與君同”，與“當(dāng)年拼卻醉顏紅”有異曲同工之妙。他沉湎于回憶，直到那天他再見(jiàn)到當(dāng)年的一位舊識(shí)歌姬。他從不直接吐露想念，但那纏綿繞骨的思念卻倦倦不離，在夢(mèng)中撓人心尖。他是多情的，卻也從不為出賣(mài)顏色，輕意為人，輕分羅帶。再見(jiàn)那女子，已是時(shí)過(guò)增境遷，她為他一舞水袖起落間，舞畢，也舞畢了他長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的半生，再難重修圓滿(mǎn)。他為她寫(xiě)“落花人獨(dú)立，微西燕雙飛。”超越了一般的男歡女愛(ài)，只是淡淡表露我的心跡，人都有各自的路要走，我注定要去遠(yuǎn)方，而你也許不會(huì)跟我四海為家，那么就此別過(guò)吧，過(guò)自己的生活，嘗自己的苦果。
若宋詞是一潭春水，那晏幾道的小令便是那一汪清水中亭亭的蓮，含苞欲放、張馳有度，生活給予了晏幾道的才情，也在小令的消亡下愈顯殘酷。有人說(shuō)晏幾道的轉(zhuǎn)身，拉上了一整個(gè)時(shí)代的幕布——小令的時(shí)代。此后便是柳永的長(zhǎng)調(diào)漸入江湖，晏幾道的離開(kāi)，是小令的消亡。想想也是如此，畢竟在之后的歲月里，再?zèng)]有人能夠與他一起被提及，再無(wú)人寫(xiě)“春來(lái)還為個(gè)般愁，瘦損宮腰羅帶剩”的感傷，再無(wú)人寫(xiě)出“琵琶弦上說(shuō)相思，當(dāng)時(shí)明月在，曾照彩云歸”的無(wú)奈，也再無(wú)人寫(xiě)出“彩袖殷勤捧玉鐘”的流連。那是晏幾道所特有的，輕易模仿不來(lái)的醉人憂(yōu)郁。像一個(gè)再好的戲子，從未感同身受，也不可能演出戲中角色的人格。
